9th ESF Sleep Medicine School
March 31 - April 3
Dear colleagues, patients, guests and friends,
The 9th ESF Sleep Medicine School, taking place from March 31 to April 3, 2025, at the University of Cyprus in Nicosia, presents a comprehensive educational experience dedicated to advancing knowledge in sleep medicine.
This year’s program addresses critical educational and scientific needs in a field that is rapidly advancing both technologically and scientifically. One primary goal is to disseminate cutting-edge advancements to a broader audience, inspiring and attracting new scientists to join this dynamic discipline. Simultaneously, the School provides a comprehensive platform for established sleep clinicians and researchers to stay updated on the latest developments in clinical sleep medicine and sleep research. A key component of the event is its practical workshops, which offer hands-on training in essential aspects of sleep medicine, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical application. Additionally, the School fosters the growth of a strong, interconnected network of sleep scientists, facilitating collaboration and innovation. Through these objectives, the event ensures the continuous evolution and excellence of the sleep medicine community.
The School will take place in person within the beautiful setting of Nicosia, Cyprus, while also offering the option for remote virtual attendance. The hybrid format of the event further enhances its accessibility, enabling participants who are unable to travel to benefit from the program remotely. Sleep medicine and sleep research require greater attention within the scientific community, as this multidisciplinary field bridges critical aspects of health, disease, quality of life, and lifestyle. By fostering education and collaboration, the School aims to advance the understanding and application of sleep science in clinical practice and research.
